Jonathan Plona

Hello! My name is JT Plona. I'm currently a student studying mechanical engineering at the University of Connecticut. I'm also in the Honors Program and am a recipient of the Stamps Scholarship - the university's most valuable scholarship. I intend to one day become an aerospace engineer, working on rockets and space technologies. On a personal note, I am passionate about volunteerism, especially in the area of youth development. I am a proud Scouter and Eagle Scout, volunteering a lot of my time in Scouting America programs - particularly as a volunteer and staff member at the Mattatuck Scout Reservation. I am also a fierce supporter of FIRST, which is a nonprofit that organizes robotics programming for students.
